It uses the available scan results to show groups or categories that may be suitable for bulk review. This can reduce the number of individual decisions you need to make, but Smart Cleaning does not replace your review.
You can review the suggested items, remove anything you want to keep, and confirm the cleanup when you are ready.
How to use Smart Cleaning
Open Smart Cleaning from the CleanX home screen, if available.
Wait for the analysis to finish.
Open each suggested category or group.
Review the selected items.
Deselect any items you want to keep.
Confirm the cleanup.
Why are there no Smart Cleaning suggestions?
Smart Cleaning may not show any suggestions when:
No eligible items were found.
The media scan has not finished.
The required permissions are not available.
Smart Cleaning is not available on your current platform or app version.

The categories, selection rules, and usage limits available in Smart Cleaning may vary depending on your device, platform, and CleanX app version.
A completed media scan and the required media permissions are needed to use Smart Cleaning.
