CleanX can show videos that have a larger impact on your available storage, helping you decide which files you may want to remove or compress.
How to find and compress large videos
Open the Videos or Compress Videos category.
Review or sort the videos by size, if the option is available.
Select the video you want to manage.
Choose Delete or Video Compression, if available.
If you choose compression, select the desired quality.
Wait for the compressed video to be created and saved.
Check the compressed video before deleting the original.
Does compression delete the original video?
No. Compression creates a smaller version of the video. The original should remain available until you have confirmed that the compressed version works as expected.
We recommend checking the compressed video before removing the original.
How much space can I save?
The final file size and amount of storage saved depend on the original video and the compression quality you select The estimated savings shown by CleanX may therefore vary from one video to another.
Why can't I compress a video?
Compression may fail if:
Your device does not have enough temporary storage.
The video format is not supported.
CleanX is running in the background during processing.
Keep CleanX open while the video is being compressed. If the process fails, free up some storage space and try again.

Video compression is available on iOS and Android where the feature is supported.
You need the required media access and enough free storage to create the compressed file. Depending on your version, the feature may also require an active premium subscription or an available usage limit.
